Do you ever feel lost in the jungle of approaches and theories?
During this workshop with Benjamin Schoendorff, you’ll learn how to put in action the power of the ACT Matrix.
Do you sometimes feel lost in the jungle of approaches and theories? Do you dream of training workshops that are concrete, directly applicable and fun? If yes, consider the following three questions. Do you want to: improve your clinical effectiveness; increase your job satisfaction No longer consider your customers, even the most difficult ones, as "problems"?
During the course of this training, you’ll get to practice the six-steps to the matrix (Polk, Schoendorff, Webster, Olaz). The six steps are an effective way to work with the ACT matrix that can supercharge your ACT practice, regardless of your level of ACT skills. You’ll also get to bring a therapeutic relationship-focus to your work to augment ACT processes. You will learn how to respond flexibly to clients and better receive your own experience as a clinician.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to present and use ACT in a simple, direct and effective way that you’ll be able to share with your clients and adapt to your clinical practice.
The result will be a profound change in the way you do your clinical work that will increase your ability to help your clients and yourself choose to move toward who and what is important even in the presence of painful obstacles.
This workshop will present to you a six-steps approach to doing ACT with the matrix that has proved highly effective in clinical practice and been shown to be more effective than traditional ACT in a series of pilot studies for treating borderline personality disorder. The six steps are a simple framework that can be used with the broadest populations, individually as well as with groups.
The workshop is based on the book The Essential Guide to the ACT Matrix (New Harbinger, 2016).
The power of these six simple steps will help you potentialize your ACT practice and better help even your most stuck clients.
